ESPA Productions is a community theatre group made up of three divisions:

ESPA (East Surrey Performing Arts) presents two full-scale musical productions annually, bringing a mix of classic and contemporary shows to the stage.

DESPA (Drama from East Surrey Performing Arts) produces a minimum of one play each year, delivering powerful storytelling and compelling performances.

YESPA (Youth East Surrey Performing Arts) shines the spotlight on young performers aged 8 to 21 with an exciting summer production, offering a platform for emerging talent to shine on stage.

Due to the recent discovery of RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) in the Harlequin Theatre, we are currently unable to perform at our regular venue. However, we are working closely with the council and receiving regular updates, and very much hope to return to The Harlequin one day soon.

For 2025, we are excited to announce that all our musical productions will be held at the stunning Chequer Mead Theatre in East Grinstead. We're fortunate to have found such a wonderful space for our performances during this time of transition.
